The primary focus of the clinic is promoting health and wellness from a whole-health standpoint. Personal injury and Workman’s Comp patients are accepted on a case by case basis. The clinic utilizes safe, gentle Chiropractic treatments and therapy, biomechanical analysis, homeopathic supplements, custom Orthotics as well as other tools to help the body heal itself without the use of harmful chemicals and their side-effects.

Dr. Garlett comes from a long line of chiropractors, having several other family members also practicing Chiropractic. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City , MO in 1999.  Since then, he worked as an associate doctor for two large practice groups which were primarily personal injury and Workman’s Compensation-based clinics. Although these were a source of great clinical experience, they lacked in other areas what only a smaller, family-based practice could provide.  Dr. Garlett opened his own chiropractic office in Austin, Texas in January of 2004 which he sold in June 2007 and assumed the practice of the retiring Chester Y. Smith, D.C., D.A.C.B.R.

Professional Goals

To achieve and maintain a successful and fullfilling practice.   Dedication to becoming a positive role model and a competent, trusted doctor within the community.  Comittment to continually developing and enhancing skills as a doctor to secure a meaningful and lasting career.

Personal Hobbies and Info

Dr. Garlett enjoys spending quiet time with his wife Beverly and 2 year old daughter Helayna, golf, fishing, writing music, playing guitar and still designs projects here and there.  On a personal note, Dr. Garlett won a battle against cancer in 1995.  Since then he has strived to live as healthy a lifestyle as possible, which incidently lead him to finding the Immuno-1 Bloodprint test, using for himself and then deciding to offer it to his patients.  Surviving cancer is what brought him to become involved in the Wright House Wellness Center, an Austin non-profit that provides chiropractic, accupuncture and massage therapy to those living with or have had cancer, Hepatitis C and/or HIV.  He volunteered his services to clients of the Center and served on the Board of Directors.
